Terms of service.
These terms govern reservations made with NYC Executive Car, operated by NYC Executive Car. By placing a reservation, the passenger or account holder accepts these terms.
Reservations.
Reservations are pre-arranged executive transportation engagements. Bookings are taken via phone, email, or the online booking system. Confirmation is provided within the hour during business operations and within twelve hours otherwise. A reservation is binding once confirmed in writing or by phone.
Pricing.
Published rates are flat: $100/hr (Executive Sedan), $120/hr (Executive SUV), $170/hr (Mercedes-Benz S-Class), and $200/hr (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van). Minimums apply per vehicle. Point-to-point engagements use the published floor with mileage adjustments above the floor. Airport flat rates are as published. Rates do not surge with traffic, weather, hour, or day. Gratuity is at the passenger's discretion.
Cancellation.
Free cancellation up to two hours before the scheduled pickup time for hourly and point-to-point engagements. For Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van engagements, free cancellation up to twenty-four hours before. Cancellations inside those windows are billed at fifty percent of the booked engagement. Rescheduling is not treated as a cancellation as long as availability permits.
Payment.
Individual reservations are settled by credit card on completion of the engagement. Corporate accounts are invoiced monthly with net-30 payment terms. ACH, wire, and check are standard; credit card payment for account invoices incurs a 2.9% processing surcharge.
Late arrivals and no-shows.
If the chauffeur is staged at the agreed pickup location and the passenger is more than thirty minutes late beyond the scheduled time without communication, the engagement is treated as a no-show and billed at the full booked rate. For airport pickups, the included wait time policy applies (60 minutes international, 30 minutes domestic); beyond that, hourly rates apply.
Wait time.
For hourly engagements, wait time between stops is included in the booked hours — the chauffeur waits at no additional charge. For airport engagements, the complimentary wait window applies. For wait time at non-airport locations beyond the engagement scope, hourly rates apply.
Liability.
Vehicles carry commercial for-hire vehicle insurance meeting New York State minimums for commercial passenger transportation. Passengers are covered for bodily injury and property damage under the commercial policy. NYC Executive Car is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, mechanical issues affecting third-party vehicles, FAA ground stops, or other events outside operational control.
Damage and conduct.
Passengers are responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused during their engagement, including but not limited to spills requiring professional detailing, smoking-related damage, and vandalism. Cleaning fees are billed at cost. Chauffeurs may terminate engagements in cases of unlawful conduct or behavior endangering the chauffeur or other passengers.
Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of New York State courts.
