01
The drive

The standard route from Midtown Manhattan to JFK runs via Long Island Expressway (I-495), then Van Wyck Expressway, then Belt Parkway. Off-peak the drive is 45 min; during weekday rush (typically 4–7 PM eastbound, 7–9 AM westbound for outbound airport runs), expect 60–75 min. Weather, special events, and Bridge/Tunnel Authority traffic can extend the drive further. The chauffeur monitors traffic in real time at the time of pickup and selects the routing accordingly — we do not commit to a single path before the engagement.

For arrivals during peak congestion windows, the vehicle is staged at the airport cell phone lot until the passenger is at the terminal. We do not idle at the curb — that is both a Port Authority enforcement issue and a customer experience problem. From staging, the vehicle reaches the curb in three to five minutes once the passenger texts arrival.

Tolls and parking are included in the flat rate. Cash tolls, EZPass tolls, and Port Authority access fees are all absorbed by the engagement price — there are no per-toll surcharges added at the end. The rate quoted at booking is the rate billed at completion.

Vs. Uber Black

$95 flat
vs. surge math.

Pre-arranged flat-rate airport transfers do not surge. Uber Black from JFK during peak windows — weekday morning arrivals from Europe, Sunday evening domestic arrivals, weather events — can run 3× to 4× base. Cancel-and-resubmit games to chase a lower rate during these windows are routine; the pre-arranged flat-rate alternative removes the variable.

NYC Executive Car Sedan (flat)
$95

Tolls, parking, flight tracking, meet-and-greet, 30 min wait domestic / 60 min international.

Uber Black (peak surge)
$304+

Estimated 3.2× base. No flight tracking, no included wait, surge volatility at the curb.

Difference (peak)
$209+

Per-trip delta in peak windows. Multiplied across a quarter of corporate travel, the gap compounds.

05
Operating context

NYC Executive Car operates daily executive car service to and from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The fleet covers the spectrum — Executive Sedan for solo passengers and standard transfers, Executive SUV for groups of four to six with luggage, Mercedes-Benz S-Class for VIP arrivals and board pickups, and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van for group transfers and delegation movements. According to the airport authority, John F. Kennedy International Airport handles 62 million annually (2024).

The chauffeur is dispatched against the flight, not the clock. From wheels-up forward, real-time flight tracking adjusts the staging time to the actual arrival rather than the published schedule — accounting for headwind variances, holding patterns over JFK, and the ten-to-fifteen minutes of taxi time from runway to gate that is rarely reflected in airline ETAs. The vehicle is at the terminal before the flight is on the gate, not after.

Standard wait policy: sixty minutes of complimentary wait time on international arrivals, thirty minutes on domestic. Beyond that, hourly rates apply at the corresponding vehicle’s posted rate. Tolls and parking are included in the flat rate. There is no surge pricing — the rate quoted at booking is the rate billed at completion, regardless of hour, weather, or holiday. Chauffeurs are licensed by the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission; vehicles are inspected three times annually by the TLC and commercially insured to New York for-hire minimums or above.
